Rewired to Communicate – a two-part programme – gives your leaders and team members the skills they need to collaborate more effectively with each other and all their stakeholders.

Part I:   Great Conversations begins by inviting participants to become intentional about the purpose of their communication. Is the goal to discuss, inform, learn, guide, influence, support, or co-create? By exploring a Communication Styles matrix, participants gain insight into how different purposes call for different approaches.

The programme then introduces core communication skills — deep listening, asking open-ended questions (often challenging for natural problem-solvers), and delivering clear, concise messages. Grounded in neuroscience, participants learn why these skills can feel surprisingly difficult and how to apply them more effectively in real-world situations.

Finally, Great Conversations brings all these elements together, demonstrating how strong communication fuels collaboration, leads to more effective meetings, and enables people to create better results together.

Part II: Difficult Conversations builds on Rewired to Relate and Great Conversations by helping participants recognise that it is the brain’s survival mode that causes certain conversations to be perceived as difficult. Regulating the nervous system therefore becomes the first step towards approaching these conversations with greater calm, clarity, and confidence.

Participants then apply these skills to real workplace situations, including giving feedback, addressing challenging behaviour, navigating sensitive or diversity-related topics, discussing pay or promotion, working through conflict, and expressing appreciation in ways that genuinely strengthen relationships.

Grounded in neuroscience and highly practical, Difficult Conversations equips people to engage openly and respectfully — turning challenging moments into opportunities to build trust, connection, and collaboration.

It is very helpful to have all members of a team do this programme together and then create team norms about how they want to communicate in their work together.
